Consultant for Health Plus of Louisiana – Working as an outsourced consultant at a medium-sized health insurance provider. Position is project lead in identifying and replacing mission critical internal processes related to quoting health insurance for small and large employers. This organization has never had a comprehensive review of their systems. The process currently used is a home grown mixture of various low level technologies including access, excel, email and paper documents. Solution being considered is a combination of custom built applications, document management systems and third party portals which will allow the highly collaborative workflow items to move between queues where employees can perform tasks. Software Developer - Developed business requirements and application specifications for Homestore's web-based B2B homeowner's manual aimed at the homebuilding industry. The manual utilized a private labeling engine to modify the look of the site. This allowed it to be seamlessly incorporated into other home oriented sites. Developed functionality that offered targeted content to homeowners based on data known about the user.
